Can you crunch it flirty style? Hell yeah! So how do we do it effectively to make sure we target out core muscles whilst looking sassy? Start with one hand at the side of the head and the opposite hand on the hip. The aim of the exercise is to use the stomach muscles to bring the knee up to the opposite elbow. You need to squeeze the abdominal muscles to draw the knee up towards the elbow, rather than bringing the elbow down to the knee. When you bring the elbow down to the knee, the arm is doing the work rather than the abdominals which isn’t going to tone them up! The higher the knee is lifted, the harder the abdominals have to work! The more repetitions you do, the harder they have to work too! Give it a go!
